Music & Movement are social activities that help children feel part of the group.  Music and movement help make routine activities and transitions smoother and more enjoyable, for music naturally delights and moves children.  Music and movement also provides an outlet for children’s high energy and spirits.  S.E.L.C. recognizes the wonderful effect music has on children and implements it into their development on a daily basis.  From The Farmer and the Dell to the Chicken Dance, the children enjoy exercising their little bodies and vocal cords as they learn to communicate messages and represent actions.  We also have musical instruments for the children to satisfy their desire to make their own music.
